Stilwerk Holding – with locations in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Rotterdam (from 2024) – is now taking another big step towards the future and has taken two new investors on board.
Hamburg-based real estate entrepreneur Klaus Bohn and German-Swiss investor Thorsten Schröder are joining the premium provider of spaces and services.

“In order to be able to use the opportunities on the market after the pandemic through new concepts and to promote further growth, we have found optimal partners with the two investors,” says managing partner Alexander Garbe, pleased about the reinforcement of the company.
The two experienced real estate and business experts Klaus Bohn and Thorsten Schröder are therefore involved in the future business development of the Stilwerk Group with immediate effect. “Stilwerk has long since ceased to stand for furniture and interior design alone, but also develops profitable operator concepts for the real estate sector with the Stilwerk Hotels and Stilwerk Workspaces”, explains investor Thorsten Schröder the entry into the group of companies. In the future, the focus will clearly be on the two core areas of hospitality and retail. The success of the first Stilwerk Hotel Heimhude confirms the expansion of the brand to include hospitality expertise. The concept is expanding further with the Stilwerk Hotel KantGaragen in Berlin and another location in Hamburg.
The strategic expansion of the hotels and their market position as well as a repositioning of Stilwerk are priority goals that Bohn and Schröder want to push forward together with Alexander Garbe. The opening of Stilwerk Rotterdam in 2024 is therefore an important milestone for the future international orientation of the company.
“Stilwerk uniquely combines design, architecture and hospitality. With the new location in Rotterdam, which unites the complete portfolio from food and interior to hospitality and co-working under one roof, Stilwerk is also positioning itself internationally as a contact point for holistic lifestyle and is thus opening up new positioning opportunities,” real estate entrepreneur Klaus Bohn explains the partnership.
